University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics – Department of Surgery Offices

This new reception area is located on the third level of the UW Clinical Science Center at the intersection of two medical office modules on a major circulation pathway within the institution.

The project program required creating an updated image for this world-class medical department. All surfaces received new upgraded finishes, cabinetry and technology. Updated areas include support areas for copying and departmental mail. An additional area was designed for a historical and technological display of surgical devices. The reception staff provides clerical support as well as directions to the numerous facility visitors.
