University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics – Main Street Pharmacy

The new pharmacy is located within the two million square foot complex at the juncture of the hospital and clinic’s “Main Street”; the primary orienting circulation core of the campus. The Pharmacy serves patients from over 89 separate clinics, discharged patients from the hospital’s 20 inpatient units, the ER and Ambulatory Procedures Center have their pharmaceutical needs filled by the Main Street Pharmacy.

By providing a functional, efficient and modern pharmacy via fresh and innovative applications of standards and new ideas, the Main Street Pharmacy meets the needs of UWHC’s outpatient pharmacy well into the foreseeable future. The new pharmacy reinforces the UWHC pursuit of the highest levels of performance, innovation and excellence.

The UWHC project manager exclaimed “The project is not only an award winning design; it was delivered on time and under budget! This was a very challenging project with multiple moves and temporary locations.”
