Bouril Design Studio was founded in 1988 by Robert Bouril to offer clients an alternative to traditional architectural design firms. In the early years, efforts were focused on developing systems, standards and establishing credibility. Mr. Bouril envisioned a firm that was accessible to all homeowners and small businesses, regardless of the nature or size of the project. He believed that the local residential and commercial markets were ready for a higher level of design and service than what was currently being offered. He adopted an approach that would not impose a stylistically rigid or esoteric design philosophy on his projects. Each project would be pursued with the full respect of the individual client’s goals and wishes with a focus on problem solving in a functional, tasteful and economical manner.

From those humble beginnings we have evolved into a diverse organization of seasoned professionals with a wide range of expertise. Bouril Design Studio has gained a reputation as an organization known for quality, integrity and consistency. As we look to the future, we have begun the process of diversification of ownership by offering key employees the opportunity to become partners in the organization. Although we have seen much change in the past 21 years, our original vision remains constant. We still provide custom design services for projects of any type, size, style or budget and we still approach every project with the same personal service that we did back then. Our mission continues to be focused on superior design, professional growth and client satisfaction.
