In our 21+ years of business, we have had the opportunity to work with a variety of Builders. Bouril Design Studio has designed the personal homes of fourteen Developers and General Contractors in the greater Madison area. As with any trade, Home builders come in a wide range of skill and experience levels. We respect their skills and expertise and welcome them as part of the team.

The process of getting a home designed and built involves a large number of players, many of whom have never before worked together and it is essential that they participate as a team. While there are contractual relationships between the various parties, we also believe that beyond the contracts, mutual respect between the parties will go a long way in working out just about anything that a construction project can dish out.

While most of our work is done using a traditional design-bid-build method, we are flexible and welcome the involvement of a Builder at any point in the process. Involving a Builder in the early stages of the design process can bring benefits to a project such as providing feedback on cost and construction schedule.

Whether you select a Builder or would like our input or assistance with the process, we are available to help. We can also provide feedback on the Contract for Construction and will continue to be available to both you and your Builder once your home is under construction to insure that the final results meet with your satisfaction and expectations.
